11.35         “Ways to Wellbeing in the LCA classroom “ by John Doran. John Doran has been a teacher and guidance           counsellor in the Patrician Secondary school for over 23 years. He was Chairman of the Network of School Planners from its foundation, dedicated to the ongoing professional development of teachers. He is author of the acclaimed Ways to Wellbeing, Irelands’ leading resilience and wellbeing programme aimed at post Junior Certificate students. It is currently taught in over 120 schools both here and in mainland Europe. John has personally trained over 250 teachers
in the programme with great success. He is passionate about the transformative power of education to disrupt poverty and help young people do all they can, with all that they have, in the time that they have got, in the space that they are in. John speaks to management bodies, teachers, parents and students on the topics of resilience, Wellbeing, stress management and maximising performance both nationally and internationally.
